What life do you want to live?

Whatever stage you are at in your journey, it is possible to change your life. It is possible to live a life you love, a life that lights you up and is centered around what you value and what you hold dear. When we learn to insource safety and our other basic emotional needs, when we connect with love to the parts of ourselves we’ve pushed away, we free up so much energy to make the changes we truly want. What’s more, these changes last, because we’re not trying to push any parts of ourselves out of the way to get there. So whatever you want to work on, whether it’s living a healthier lifestyle, exercising, losing weight, managing chronic illness or pain, or reducing stress, anxiety and negative thoughts; I’m here to remind you what’s really possible in your life. If you want to learn to love yourself on a deeper level, whilst also working towards the life you truly want, then you’re in the right place.

Connect with love to the parts of yourself you’ve ignored or pushed away. When these parts feel seen, loved and supported, they move with you rather than against you to make the things you truly want.

Connect your brain your body and your heart

Brain

Have you experienced a time where your brain says go go go, but your body brings you to a firm stop? This could be as simple as the daily struggle to exercise or in more extreme cases a need to completely avoid a certain situation for fear of what it will bring up. It is so easy to tell ourselves we’re lazy, not good enough, there’s something wrong with us, when the reality is our body is simply trying to protect us from something. When we tune in, to really understand what the protection mechanism is; we can meet that protector part with the love and safety it needs to step aside. We do this through a process called insourcing, where rather than looking for safety out there, we find it in our own body; then it’s there to access any time we need it. Once our body feels safe and seen, we no longer experience the same blocks. Our body is then free to move with us rather than against us to create the changes we really want.

Body

Would you like to feel a deep sense of confidence? Or maybe you want to feel less anxious? We tend to forget that these feelings are not only thoughts in our mind, but sensations in our body. When we learn to experience safety and anxiety as sensations in our body and be ok; to experience confidence and self doubt in our body and be ok, the grip of the undesirable feelings lessen and we actually live more and more in the feelings we want to experience, happiness, safety, freedom and contentment. It’s ironic that by bringing love and acceptance to the things we don’t want to feel, to the things we avoid, that they move on all on their own.

Heart

What do YOU want? What lights YOU up? It is so easy to end up living a life we feel we didn’t choose and so often fear of the unknown can keep us stuck there. So how do you find the strength and space to make the things you want a reality? When we begin to experience our true self worth that’s not dependent a job, a family situation, how our body looks, our achievements or failures; living a life that’s more aligned to ourself becomes so much more possible. When we know deep down our inherent worth the truth is we also learn to be ok with the life we already have which is a much more peaceful place to be; we find and learn new ways to be who we are within that. With this we’re free to go for the things we want without self worth or self doubt holding us back. When work on our dreams in this way, we stand so much chance of being successful. With this we learn to make decisions leading from our heart rather than running from hurt.
