Have you ever experienced a moment where your mind is pushing forward telling you to go, to do, to act but your body refuses to follow? Maybe it’s the struggle to exercise, or in more extreme cases, an inability to face certain situations because of the fear they bring up. At our core, our most basic need is safety. When your body shuts down or resists, it’s not a sign of failure; it’s a sign that somewhere, deep inside, your system is perceiving a threat. The key to change isn’t in forcing yourself past these blocks it’s in learning to create safety within yourself.

This process is called insourcing, shifting from looking for safety outside of yourself to actually experiencing it within your own body. When we cultivate this internal sense of safety, we can begin to meet difficult emotions without feeling overwhelmed. We realise that feeling fear and feeling safe aren’t opposites - they can coexist. And when they do, the barriers that once felt impossible to move through start to dissolve. Suddenly, the changes we long for feel not only possible but natural.

Body

Movement and exercise have the power to transform not just our physical body, but our mental and emotional state from the inside out. Our belief systems, past experiences, and traumas doesn’t just live in our mind - they show up in our posture, our movement patterns, and the way we physically navigate the world.

I specialize in blending the biomechanics of human movement with nervous system reprogramming and somatic work. This approach doesn’t just strengthen muscles or improve fitness it rewires the body at its core. By working with movement at the level of the nervous system, we unlock deeper, more lasting change, creating new movement patterns that support both physical and emotional well-being.
